I want to be the director of the EPA. I know absolutely nothing about the job and have a complete lack of experience and yet I think I am far more deserving than the current director, Lisa Jackson.
I mean, "what the hell"?! Her agency has approved BP's use of the chemical dispersant "Coexit 9500", even though it has been shown to be toxic? Doesn't that fact alone demonstrate gross incompetance?
Experience is way overblown anyways, in many cases. Brian Epstien had never managed a rock and roll band in his life prior to his handing of the Beatles.
Make your calls. Get me in. I guarantee you this chemical dispersant thing would be stopped immediately. I also guarantee that I would put every available agaency resource into finding a quick and elegant solution to this incredibly stupid mess.
Why was BP, Halliburton and the EPA completely unprepared for this eventuality? The gulf of Mexico is packed with oil rigs. . .did they think they would operate without leaks forever?
This is a maddening situation.
