Enough is enough. After 2000, Democrats should have gotten their act together. Instead, they have gotten worse.
Aside from using federal tax dollars to help states buy e-cheating boxes, they have totally dropped the ball on felon issues, registration issues, and absentee issues.
In the last couple of months, we have been subjected to story after story of blatant cheating without a peep from the Democratic party. Whether it has been the Florida felon list, illegal Nader balots, the "too light" registration cards in Ohio, or the news out of Colorado today, the Democrats have not done jack sh-t to stop it.
Well, enough is enough. I gave the Democratic party 72 hours when the Ohio story broke. So far, I haven't seen anything outside of the blogosphere. The Dems have 24 hours to get their act together before I am out of here folks.
The debates, the GOTV programs, the rallies, the blogs and the angst are not worth it if the votes are not counted properly. Personally, I don't have a team of lawyers to fight the GOP from stealing the election. I heard somewhere that John Kerry and the DNC do. Well, if so, I better hear about some serious action in the next 24 hours or they can kiss my ass goodbye. Because I swear, I cannot be bothered to make my way to the polls in the cold of November if my vote isn't going to count. Nor am I going to ask anyone else to waste their time by going to the polls if their votes won't count either.
BTW, if this diary upsets you, you may cut and paste it into an email to the DNC asking them to get their sh-t togeter so I don't jump ship.
