If there's any lawyers or knowledgeable people out there, your help would really be appreciated.
I'm the President of Cornell University's college Democrats. Our group would like to print t-shirts, but because Cornell is very strict about its trademark, they can't say "Cornell Democrats". We are currently planning on having the shirts say "CU Democrats" because it seems like Cornell can't possibly own the letters "CU". Are we right? If the administration harasses us can I safely tell them we have every right to print the shirts?
Thanks for your help.
