No really! For the last ten years travelers on I-75 in SW Ohio have been greeted by a 62 foot tall plastic Jesus statue rising out of reflecting pool beside the interstate. The statue has been the subject of many a wry comment over the years (it was known locally as "Touchdown Jesus"), and for some it was a source of civic embarrassment. (Frankly this was the bulkiest Jesus I ever saw, looks a bit like a linebacker).
But last night, with an act of god, the good lord spoke.
In the midst of a fierce thunderstorm (that included tornado warnings) lighting struck and plastic Jesus went up in a spectacular ball of flame. Now we can all imagine what sort of comments might be flying around had that been a different sort of statue (I'll leave that one to your imagination).
And here were the results.
So it follows that a message can found in last night's events. The question is what message might that be? It may mean something that this is just a few miles from John Boehner's house. The floor is open for speculation.
Those of you with a direct line to God, please let us know what you hear. (Has God started twittering yet?). What would Michelle Bachman say, or Pat Robertson? Probably God rendering his opinion of Obama's election or the Anti-Christ has landed or some such nonsense.
I know there are more important things going on in the world, but this all seemed worth a pause for contemplation.

UPDATE: Its seems so many people are stopping on the interstate to photograph the burned wreckage of Jesus that its creating a traffic jam and State Patrol is now issuing tickets to any such offenders. Only in America.
