Just kidding.

14. If the election for United States Senate were held today, and the choice was between Robert Casey, Jr., the Democrat and Rick Santorum, the Republican, whom would you vote for?
Robert Casey 52%
Rick Santorum 38%
Other 2%
Undecided 8%
This is a slight gain since SV's last in January, which had it at 50-40.
Some other intertesting finds:
- Bush's handling of Iraq has taken a hit since January. His war approval is now at 39-50, compared to 44-49. I guess people are paying attention to that little civil war that's not going on, according to Administration officials.
- Overall job performance has fallen from to 35-58, from 39-55, by the way.
- SV has one of my favorite questions: They ask Republicans whether they think Bush is a conservative in the mold of noted cowboy actor and President Ronald Reagan. In January he was at 43-46 - he's since fallen to 34-52.
- Something I didn't notice last time around: In toh January and March, 70 and 72% of respondents felt that a terrorist attack will occur in the Us in the next six months. Those numbers are very high, and January was before the Dubai port deal, remember.
Okay, that's enough of Bush.
The gubernatorial race is in a dead heat, with both Governor Ed Rendell and wide receiver Lynn Swann polling at 45%. And Pennsylvanians don't seem too keen on the idea of their most prominent politicians moving onto a bigger stage: Only 8% want to see Rendell or Santorum run for Preasident. PA is fairly conventional on that front; 38% of Democrats and Republicans prefer Hillary Clinton and Rudy Giuliani, respectively, at this point. Al Gore and John McCain were the runners-up.
Nothing on Chuck Pennacchio or Alan Sandals. Yeah I know: You guys were DYING for that to be brought up.
Note: Title changed to accomodate the heart conditions of dKos readers. Sorry bout that, folks.
