I am sorry if this has been posted before. I did not see it anywhere on this blog.
Anyway, per msnbc, the White House apparently has refused to adhere to Clarke's request in releasing all of Clarke's testimony. It, as it puts it "will only release those portions which points to contradictions. Does anyone for a second believe that the Bush White House will be fair? Isn't it obvious that they will take a line here and a line there to make its point? And how is the public to know that the lines they declassified won't be out of context?
Not only will Condi Rice not testify under oath. Now they will only release bits and pieces of Clarke's testimony. It's like they want to have the cake and eat it, too.

"U.S. officials told NBC News that the full record of Clarke's testimony two years ago would not be declassified. They said that at the request of the White House, however, the CIA was going through the transcript to see what could be declassified, with an eye toward pointing out contradictions."
