It seems to me that in the back of their mind everyone
knows what the solution to Iraq is, but nobody talks about it for fear of alienating the people in power.
- Bush apologizes to the world.
- The US pulls out of Iraq, and peace-keeping power is entirely handed over to the UN, with a pledge of unlimited monetary support from the US. Even if that means raising taxes, and putting up with some potential UN corruption. A small amount of UN corruption is far better than the whole mess of Halliburton corruption we've had so far.
It's time for us to stand up and be adults here, we as Americans should have to pay, and pay dearly for this war.
- Bush should be brought up for war crimes before an international court. They should go easy on him, he did just apologize in step one remember. But at the very least he should be stripped of his personal millions (and have that evenly distributed among the families of the dead US soldiers) and he should spend a few years in jail.
That's it. That's all it would take to make things right, if you are arguing from a
moral point of view of course.
