In the words of conservative Christian leader James Dobson, some senators will be "in the 'bull's-eye'" if they block President Bush's judicial nominees.
Dobson made the comment in a letter this month to one-point-two (m) million supporters of his Colorado Springs-based group, Focus on the Family.
Dobson lists six Democrats who he says should beware when they seek re-election next year. They include Jeff Bingaman of New Mexico, Bill Nelson of Florida, Mark Dayton of Minnesota, Ben Nelson of Nebraska, Kent Conrad of North Dakota and Robert Byrd of West Virginia.
We as democrats have failed in giving Dobson the Falwell or Robertson treatment. I consider Dobson far more dangerous than those clowns. He hides behind the respectability of his degrees, with a reasonable sounding tone, as he mouths off some pretty bizarre shit.
His latest tome describes how you should beat your kids in a loving christ like manner for disciplining techniques. They might turn out to be nancy boy homosexuals other wise.
This guy has a radio spot played on the airway nationally on network slots. Can Falwell or Robertson claim the same? Time for us to dig up some dirt, throw some stink bombs. Our weak kneed friends in the Senate might need some shoring up about now.
