Considering that Moore has been slammed on this point, by libs as well as right wingers, you'd think a few apologies might be in order. But then, how would you explain signing off on the 9/11 commission whitewash?
I'm one of those people who think Moore view Moore as a bit sloppy with his presentation. And I wish he'd use his incredible talent in the interest of enlightenment rather than pure partisanship. I agree with the critic who suggested that Moore is wrong to gauge the success of his film by the uniform agreement of his audiences and that a filmmaker, particular one dedicated to satire, should be more satisfied with a film that results in arguments in the theater aisles.
But if he was right, he was right.
