Following up on the August high of nearly 300,000 jobs created, more economic good news was released last week.
Unemployment hit a record low of 6.7% in the month of August. In July, the rate was 6.9%, and in August of last year it was 8.1%.
Average monthly income also hit a new high of R$ 1,472.10 (US$ 806.37) in August, increasing 1.4% over July.
