Sestak for Senate
Those of you who know of Congressman and to-be Senator Joe Sestak know that he has dedicated himself to a lifetime of service to his country. He is a former three-star Vice Admiral in the Navy, where he was a member for over 30 years. His rank gives him the distinction of being the highest-ranking former officer currently serving in the US Congress (and the highest-ranking officer ever elected to Congress, h/t RamblinDave in comments) where, as a member since 2007, he has fought tirelessly for Main Street, women, children, veterans, labor, the environment, members of the LGBT community, and the middle class in America.
Then there is Pat Toomey...
Those of you who know of Pat Toomey know that he has dedicated himself to a lifetime of service to profits at the expense of people. He is a former banker of over 15 years who dealt in currency swaps and currency-related derivatives before being elected to Congress where, as a member for six years, he fought tirelessly for Wall Street, Big Oil, Insurance Companies, Union Busters, and the upper class in America.
The difference could not be more clear.
And Congressman Sestak has offered this clear choice to PA voters in an ad called "Timeline" (which I think could have just as easily been called "Lifetime of Service"):

This ad is the next in the series which plays on Pat Toomey's clear Wall Street record:
And it follows another recent ad called "Zero", where-in, in his own words, Pat Toomey calls for zero taxes for corporations:
Most, if not all, recent polling (h/t sdf) suggests this race will indeed be an uphill battle.
However, it should be noted that most polling in his prior battle with self-preserving Senator Specter showed it would be an uphill battle for the Congressman as well.
Likewise, his first race to become a member of Congress against a well-known Republican.
In each and every case, he has had the odds of power stacked against him.
Only to come out on top.
He is notorious for closing strong, but he can only do so with your help.
And that help comes in various forms:
If you're in PA, you can register to vote if you haven't
You can join the Sestak Action Network
You can volunteer to be part of the grassroots movement
You can sign up for email updates
And, of course, you can donate
Whatever you choose to do... choose to do something.
