Allow me to introduce myself. Name's
Don Henry Ford Jr. I have written and will continue to write primarily at the Agonist. But I thought I'd stop by and see what you are doing on occasion and make a comment or two.
I may even post an occasional story.
My interests are varied, but matters related to the border and the war on drugs are my fields of expertise: I am a former marijuana smuggler from Texas.
I have written books on the subject--the latest--Contrabando, is the true account of my experience in the business.
I want to see changes in the way we fight the war on drugs. Of course this issue is interconnected with many others and can't be addressed without also looking at the related subjects that affect it.
I was the subject of a segment at the Day-to-Day show on NPR earlier today. Part 2 and 3 will follow on Thursday and Friday.
Here's my web-site. The diary button will link you to my personal diary at the Agonist. For those battling addiction or interested in possible changes to the way we deal with those that use and sell drugs, check out what you find under the observations link.
Thanks for your time. If I can be of use around here, let me know.
