In an editorial condemning over-the-top negative campaigning, today's NY Times cites one that is "demeaning <to> Terry Anderson, a Democratic candidate for the Ohio Legislature, with a photograph of him next to a Hezbollah terrorist.
Mr. Anderson is understandably furious: he was actually kidnapped in Lebanon and chained for nearly seven years by Hezbollah thugs. He later returned as a free man to confront one of his captors, a moment that now turns up in the ludicrous flier depicting Mr. Anderson as soft on terrorism".
I had no idea he was running. Terry, all the best in your race. Do any Buckeye State residents know how he's faring in his campaign? Is this a last-ditch attempt to Rove him?
