George W. Bush signed a law allowing Texans to sue their HMOs when he was Governor. He campaigned on the issue as he ran for President. Now, he is urging the U.S. Supreme Court to
invalidate the law that he signed.
Apparently, state's rights and campaign promises are not important when it comes to HMOs and the right of individual Americans to sue corporations that don't live up to their promises.
