The campaign for President in 2004 died in Wisconsin (or did it die in Iowa? New Hampshire?)
But the question is, is Howard Dean "John McCain", the maverick that sputtered out and leaves his party relatively unchanged?
Or is Howard Dean "Barry Goldwater", a man who was way before his time in the 60s, but a huge hit (as Reagan) in the 1980s?
If Dean is Goldwater, can he mount a run in 2008 or 2012 that will bring his ideas into fruition?
