In an effort to make it as plain as possible, the nation's top science board supported earlier data that shows the Earth is hottest it's been in 400 or more years.
And that it's us humans who are the cause of global warming.
Can that be any plainer to you guys?
Wait. I know what you're thinking. Damn liberal scientists. Why do they hate America?
No. This panel was put together at the urging of REPUBLICAN House Science Committee chair Rep. Sherwood Boehlert, R-N.Y., who slammed GOP Nutcase and Texas Representative Joe Barton for trying to intimidate climate scientists who initially presented the data last year.
Last year, when the House Energy and Commerce Committee chairman, Rep. Joe Barton, R-Texas, launched an investigation of three climate scientists, Boehlert said Barton should try to learn from scientists, not intimidate them.
Wow. You know Barton is a creep if moderate Republicans dislike him.
Yes, Joe Barton tried to intimidate climate scientists by
investigating them! Joe Barton is the same guy who took corporate money to end Net Neutrality.
As if pushing legislation that would make our Internet costs go up and our freedom to surf openly and without MORE ads go down, Barton has to abuse his position to intimidate Americans?
Another reason to support Iraq war veteran, David Harris who is running against him.
But, enough about Barton (please!).
Have we made it as plain as possible for you guys?
Global Warming exists. And, um, we're the cause!
"The numerous indications that recent warmth is unprecedented for at least the last 400 years and potentially the last several millennia, in combination with estimates of external climate forcing variations over the same period, supports the conclusion that human activities are responsible for much of the recent warming," the panel wrote.

And if you still don't believe it, perhaps we should rehash that whole Katrina-Rita Mother Of All Hurricane seasons thing again?
I'm sure you guys would love America to revisit your shining hour.
Because given the data, you are either a friggin moron or you are lying if you think global warming isn't happening?
And yet George Bush still says there's no conclusive proof that global warming really exists and that human acitivity is the major source. |
Bush still hasn't signed Kyoto. He still won't put teeth to emissions control regulations, and he still wants to destroy the climate with environmentally harmful policies that are also dangerous to national security.
The GOP continues to loosen environmental standards, continues to try to drill in the Alaska National Wildlife Reserve, and continues to harm our national security and safety (Katrina?) by hazardous environmental policies.
And if that's not bad enough College Republicans are throwing beach parties to "celebrate" Global Warming.
And so I've got one question for the GOP & people denying global warming?
Which one are you? A moron or a LIAR?
