but in a bit role.
ABC News was doing some story that involved footage of the campaigns in Clay County, Missouri.
How come? (more inside)
because in 2000, Clay County went for Gore by one vote.
Before that, it's went Clinton twice, Bush, Reagan twice, Carter, Nixon (68/72), Johnson, Nixon, Stevenson, Eisenhower, Truman
So it's a swing county. They had cameras at a rally and following the canvassers.
But this is where it gets good, or weird. I was in this schoolbus with other Kerry supporters. And we held out the signs and chanted "Kerry" (or "Two more weeks"). There was some positive reaction. We went around the William Jewell campus. And a camera for something (maybe ABC News) spotted the bus. So I'm pretty sure that unless they have lousy lighting. I got on there.
Monday night 5:30
I was in a white Kerry shirt with a black windbreaker, red hair, attempted facial hair, Kerry sign
then again.. there's good odds that this was a local news cameraman, or just some guy filming. I'll keep an eye out for myself on the local stuff.
Anyways.. Ride on the Kerrybus!
(the other locations we hit were Downtown Liberty, the Republican headquarters (in a strip mall) and a WalMart)
And one guy flipped us off too.
