That didn't take long!
Mickey Kaus and Andy Sullivan are already roasting Jonathan Klein for his supposedly unfair treatment of Tucker Carlson. According to them Carlson was just doing his job, doing what CNN told him to do, Jon Stewart attacked him first (which is a lie - Carlson called him a "butt boy" first), and he is a rare, independent conservative (
Andy Sullivan must really want to tap that ass, considering how many times the rare independent conservative has derided homosexuals and supported the government banning gay pride parties for federal workers). They're floating stories that Klein is hated by everyone at CNN. It's kinda funny to me, because I haven't heard a single word of condemnation over Klein's comments or his firing decisions. Not here, not at right-wing blogs...I've even seen popularity polls online that have 70-80% saying Carlson was annoying and needed to go.
We'd better get ready to see Klein either fired within a year or see his reputation and career shattered beyond recognition. Kaus and Sullivan and the other media whores are terrified that they will lose their media meal ticket, that they will have to produce something of substance instead of just getting lavishly paid to hammer out the same pathetic stereotypes week after week.
If you want Klein to keep his job and keep improving CNN, then show your support for him while you still have a chance.
