In a
Keystone Poll released yesterday, Democrat Allyson Schwartz leads her opponent Dr. Melissa Brown, 45% to 32% in Pennsylvania's 13th Congressional District.
But that's no reason to get complacent about this open race to succeed Joe Hoeffel. According the poll, nearly 1 in 4 voters (23%) are still undecided. There's still lots of work to be done.
PA-13 is a gerrymandered district that includes much of suburban Montgomery County and portions of Philadelphia. In the past, Brown, who lost to Hoeffel two years ago, has used racially divisive tactics involving Sec.8 housing to try and rouse her base.
