It seems those who attacked the Capitol last week are being charged and arrested like they have over-due parking tickets. Department of Justice is not taking this seriously enough. There is a sort of precedent to what happened on January 6.
In 1954 gunmen from Puerto Rico shot into the well of the House of Representatives injuring five members of Congress. They were arrested and tried and given long prison sentences. They were in prison until Jimmy Carter commuted their sentences. We ought to see the current class of traitors treated in a similar manner.
