I voted by mail last week and this week received an email invitation from Open California to take an online poll. As you can see, I voted for Hillary Clinton. Yep, I admit it. Lock me up.
The Secretary of State has my email from my voter registration, and they do email me from time to time to remind me to re-register or to vote. I assume that’s how the pollster got my email and knew I voted.
The poll asked about the statewide offices (I voted straight D, which was especially easy because in some cases we had no choice) and the propositions. It also had questions on general political issues, like taxes, abortion, environment. Here’s one.
I know there is not much drama from California in the big race, but it was still nice to be a data point in an election survey.
By the way, if you’re a Californian and haven’t voted yet, here’s a handy cheat sheet for the propositions.
