We see town after shrinking town, dusty towns, towns that feel that not being the capital city, they will be abandoned, all across the west. The impact of the economy but also a kind of thinking, somewhere, has left these communities, with decades of history, in the dust as if they are no longer needed. Closed businesses, ragged houses, neglect.
It should concern all of us.
