The Vigil diary is like a chapel and not a place to argue or debate. It is not the place for that. If you have a disagreement with something in a Vigil, feel free to take it outside and write a diary about it – but please don’t disrupt the contemplation of others in the Vigil itself.

I have had faith in many things in my lifetime. Faith that my parents would take care of me. Faith that Spring will come. Faith in friends and in family to be there for me. Faith that the people I voted for would keep their promises. Faith that I am safe when I go to the store. Faith in my husband’s continued love for me. Faith that my car will start in the morning. And, yes for me, faith in God*.
