We've all noticed the call around here to do what we can to pass substantive health care. No robust public option (at the very, very least), no reform, right?

Well, I'm adding my voice to another diary on the rec list in hopes that we can start coalescing movements and organization to put together one massive, HUGE, national day of marches in support of health care reform.

For a few weeks now, some of us have taken the call to heart like so many other here on Kos, working to organize simultaneous marches around the country at noon on September 13th. We've been communicating via the March for Healthcare facebook group- we have the will power. We are all busy with our daily lives, just like the rest of this community, but we are trying as hard as we can. We are dedicated to this cause.

But...WE NEED YOUR SUPPORT!!! Now that I see that many of us are thinking the same thing for the same day, let's use these here internets to make virtual connections and MAKE THIS HAPPEN!!!

Let's get this straight: I'm confident Judge Sotomayor could take anyone in the Senate on and kick their asses with one hand tied behind her back. But I can't watch her confirmation hearings or even listen to snippets on the news.

I feel my blood pressure skyrocket every time I hear Lindsay Graham or Jeff Sessions' voices. It drives me crazy. And because of yesterday's 23-week OB check-up and my elevated blood pressure, I've decided it might be in my best interest to avoid any and all coverage of Sotomayor's confirmation hearings.
