I guess that's going to be my new bumpersticker. I'm really starting to become fearful.
Less than a year into its second term, the Bush white house is imploding under the weight of its own arrogance, corruption, and isolation from reality. While it some ways this is a gleeful, "I told you so" moment for the left, I'm more worried than happy. How will Bush and his team (those who manage to stay out of jail)respond to the ongoing public relations collapse?
Bush's sinking poll numbers, and the dawning realization that his presidency will most likely go down in history as an enormous failure, must be weighing on the shrub. How will George Bush ever cope? What lengths will he go to, to try to remain in his fantasy world? He doesn't strike me as a guy who performs well under pressure -- he really needs all that vacation time. In reality, he is the opposite of a strong leader, rather he is a guy who needs constant care and supervision in order not to screw up.
