You don't need to read this, it's just personal stuff.
The rash on my left leg seems to be going down, but still blistering. I wash it with rubbing alcohol and then schmear it with Neosporin that is probably past the due date, but the rash seems to be healing a bit.
I don't think I'll be able to see my doctor for another two weeks, so hopefully it doesn't turn green before then. I don't think it will, it doesn't look like that sort of thing. What the hell could have caused it, I have no idea. I don't think its a bed sore, because that's not the side I sleep on, but one of the medications I'm taking (Neurontin) is supposed to cause strange bruises, or maybe I just imagined that, but it is one strange bruise.
Neurontin is, by the way, garbage. It does zero zip nada for pain, and only acts as a sleeping pill for a week or so before you get used to it. It's probably addictive. But, you know, better to give me an off-schedule (or whatever they call it when they give you something that isn't evaluated by the FDA for your specific problem, but that the manufacturer suggests might be useful for other problems -- and Neurontin's manufacturers (Parke, Davis) have decided that Neurontin is good for the whole family, and that it is a cure-all that is entirely safe. cough*bullshit*cough) medication that was originally and still is used to treat epileptic seizures (which I don't have, but I do have muscle spasms in my back and abdomen and legs) than to give a narcotic medication that actually does help with pain.
I know, I know, don't want me to get addicted to narcotics. Cause narcotics bad, mmmkay? One one hand, I'm okay with that. Last thing I need is a 200 pill a day oxycodone (not oxycontin) habit, or whatever. They think that the more they say how powerful the medication is that the placebo effect will kick in, but the placebo effect doesn't work if I know you're lying through your teeth!
I hate pledge week.
