Why I Feel Sorry For George W. Bush

It must suck to have most everyone in the world hate you.

As a human being, I sometimes feel sorry for George W. Bush.  Being carted around to staged event after staged event.  Having to order your handlers to keep those with dissenting opinions away from your public appearances.  Looking foolish each time you go before your own public.  Having your poll numbers plummet, save when an emergency happens.  Going to a foreign country and being reminded how unpopular you are.  Constant bad news necessitating that you respond with a hype-filled highlight reel, and then having that highlight reel overshadowed by the same bad news you're trying to combat.

And then I remember that he did this to himself, and that he's dragging this country down with him, and I don't feel sorry for him one bit.
