Ya know, I spoke to a higher up DNCer today on the phone, and unbidden, he said something to this effect: "We love the diaries on your new site. It's becoming a great place for us to get ideas on various issues."
Now that is a horrible paraphrase, but the point remains. I've been amazed at how you guys immediately took to the diaries, even as I ignored them in favor of the (I originally thought) sexier comment boards. Ultimately, the diaries are becoming the heart of the new and improved dKos.
And it's not just us reading them amongst ourselves. They are being noticed and used by the party establishment. You now have influence in a way the Democratic rank and file never had before. Congratulations to you guys. I had nothing to do with it.
I was harsh with the party today, but point remains that they do "get it", and they are making good progress in becoming a more open organization.
And poll: How would you like to see Bush leave office?
