I posted the following on the
Clark Community and
calpundit, after emailing the AARP (member@aarp.org) with the following message:
Dear AARP,
Next year I expect to get my first mailings from you. Don't bother. I will also lobby my parents, my wife's parents, friends and families to cancel their memberships in your organization.
How could you betray us? What did you get from the GOP that made this worth your endorsement? Hope it was worth it to you, because in what will be one of the most heated elections in years you have just lost a lot of would-be supporters.
I'm certainly going to do everything in my power to make sure that's the case, and I'm pretty sure that I'm not alone.

I sum up by saying:
This is a huge Rovian powerplay that is intended to pull the rug out from under the Democratic candidate next year. The AARP has got pay a heavy price for it. All AARP members or those of age to be members, you have to let them know you oppose this, that they sold you and all of us down the river for what I'd bet is some under-the table-deal.
Email them. Email them now. Don't let this go over without a fight. Thanks.
So if you feel like emailing them, address is above.
