Fox has a
new national poll of the Dem party race. I wish these media outlets would invest in polling, say, Oklahoma. Or NM. Or any of the early states that will, you know,
actually decide the nominee.
Oh well. (October results in parenthesis)
Wouldn't vote/Not sure 25 (35)
Dean 18 (12)
Clark 14 (13)
Lieberman 10 (11)
Gephardt 9 (9)
Kerry 8 (10)
Someone else 6 (0)
Braun 3 (3)
Edwards 3 (3)
Kucinich 2 (2)
Sharpton 2 (2)
Incidentally, in the poll, Clark, Dean and Gephardt all lose to Bush 49-36. The salient number in all of these head-to-head matchups is not that Bush leads (with his 100 percent name ID), but that he's being kept under 50 percent. In any race, that's always the clearest mark of vulnerability.
