Don't look now, but as heard on NPR this morning, and read
here the Senate has introduced new legislation for a constitutional amendment to ban same-sex marriage.
This was introduced purposefully right before the winter recess so it can "gain momentum."
Call your Senators now; call them after Congress reconvenes, or both. Tell them the purpose of a Constitutional amendment is not to take away the rights of a minority, or a certain group of people. Tell them gay marriage doesn't destroy heterosexual marriage; people who don't love each other and divorce do. Tell them what you want.
Tell ME what you would tell them.
