Most adults that follow politics are pretty firm about where they stand. They're not going to radically realign themselves.
I'm curious what age dKos participants self-report their political identity firming-up.
This morning I was thinking it would be interesting to research how Americans political identity evolves. Researchers would take maybe 1,000 individuals starting at age 12(?) and follow how their attitudes evolve toward societal issues and compare it to their backgrounds, including family structure, and their experiences.
