Conservatives argued that CBS's Reagan miniseries wasn't fit to air because it contained made-up-dialogue, possible historical inaccuracies and the subject of the film couldn't defend himself. So, as I understand it, the new criteria for historical dramas is that they have:
- No made-up dialogue
- Only scenes whose historical accuracy is beyond debate and
- That the subject of the movie be allowed to defend themselves.
As per these restrictions, I've
prepared a blacklist of historical dramas that DO NOT meet these criteria. Please help insure that the offending films are never again aired.
Please email me with additions or corrections.
