Dean's comments at women's forum

(This is in reference to sparks' diary post at http://www.dailykos.com/?op=displaystory;sid=2003/11/7/7120/72110.  DailyKOS wouldn't let me post a comment there.)

From the video posted up on CSPAN.org (Presidential Candidates Forum on Women's Issues, at approximately 1:07 into the video), in response to a question about stem cell research:

"I think we ought to have therapeutic cloning but not embryonic cloning.  I think we ought to have nuclear transfers and I think we ought to regulate carefully what we do.  But the fact is....

I'll give you a little story that ought to warm your heart a little bit.  My brother has a diabetic son.  He is an independent who leans a little Republican because he's a business person.  He will never vote for a Republican for the rest of his life because of what George Bush did [regarding stem cell research]."

The topic had nothing to do with business and everything to do with stem cell research.
