Bush is in trouble. Bush may not even run! The Republican honchos have got to be in panic mode after seeing 6 point job approval bump and a 44 re-elect post Saddam. Sure, numbers could still go higher, you never know with polls, but say they don't. Honchos know the truth about the economy: it is tanking, (insiders dumping stock at 2000 pace, wal-mart sales fail to meet expectations) more soldiers are going to die, and the people I talk to seem to be angry all the time. About what? Everything. Just angry. Bad mood. Has anyone else noticed this? At some point, there is only one logical direction to point the gun of anger: at the President. The electorate's mood reminds me of 1980, when a supposedly unelectable Reagan swept to victory. Point is Deanies is that your boy can win. So can Clark. But that is it. Why? Because angry electorates crave change, revolution, and either one of them will deliver. But, they are the only ones. From this point on Dems we have only one choice to make: that is which order to place Daen and Clark on the ticket.
