I'm certain this will be dismissed by Dean supporters as yet another silly slight against their messiah. But really folks, this man is not deeply religious, or, for that matter, not religious at all. And the worst part is that he admits it. He could at least pretend to be a little religious. And this matters. There are a lot of voters who want to see faith and belief in their president, and I'm not just talking about white christian evangelicals, either. That mushy middle generally likes to see a candidate with some religion about him.
