Ive gone back and listened to the Dean concession speach again. This time in
a remix. And i figured out something. I , as many other Deaniacs let myself fall for the media spin, the bashpundits. And the Kerryites attacks on him. (I dare anyone who has wandered from supporting the Doctor or who supports another camp to click that link and listen to it for at least a few seconds. I think they'll find themselves reconsidering a lot of things.)
Then i remembered... Dean taught me to Believe again. To believe in America. To believe in the Democratic party. I , as many others, had given up after watching the last quarter century in near horror.
We hear a lot from Kerry, Clark, etc supporters how we should be ABB. Well.. im not ABB. Howard Dean is a leader along the lines of Bobby Kennedy or Teddy Roosevelt. With a little Truman thrown in. We are witnessing the rise of a man and a movement rare in american history. And the reaction of the system to that politician.
Do we really blindly follow the media/punditocracy spin now.. exactly what we accuse the people who put the gop in power of doing?
