Bush 2004 Campaign Pledges to Restore Honor and Dignity to White House

"After years of false statements and empty promises, it's time for big changes in Washington," Bush said. "We need a president who will finally stand up and fight against the lies and corruption. It's time to renew the faith the people once had in the White House. If elected, I pledge to usher in a new era of integrity inside the Oval Office."

Why is it that some of the best commentary, and, indeed, some of the best reporting, on the Bush Administration has been coming out of the likes of The Onion and The Daily Show?  Why can't the "liberal media" get a consistent message regarding Bush's deceptions and lies?  It's a little disheartening, I tell ya.

Personally, I hope and pray that the end of 2004 will usher in a lot of change.  Change in the White House, change in the media, change in the way we view our country's position in this world.  By God, I'm praying that this country will once again have something of which to be proud!
