I have a theory, which cannot be proven at this time. Please hear me out.
(PS: Before you read further, I have been recently a Dean supporter. I am most angry at Gephardt. He killed Dean's candidacy as he did Paul Simon's. Gephardt will never be in DC if Dean wins (IF) election. If JFK wins, then Gephardt will be rewarded for killing Dean with a cabinet spot at Labor or Commerce. Now this dairy is IF my candidate, Dean, does not win the nomination. The big IF...)
1. JFK will win the nomination in a hard convention battle. JFK will want to make peace with all, especially the Clintonites. For Hillary to be fully supportive, his VP will be someone who is not a threat to her future. And, the VP will be someone who can help JFK in the south and with minority votes.
2. Thus, JFK's VP will be John Lewis. The theme will be national security and civil liberties.
3. Edwards will not want to be a VP, as he likes a broad stage. Also, with the Attorney General portfolio, he can have a future plan. (Hillary's attempt thus will backfire, but she is not bright and so will not know until it is too late.)
4. By end of March, JFK/Lewis will start to grow. At the White House, Cheney will feel the pressure to resign. The excuse: health care and/or Iraq war intelligence flaws. He will take the fall and spare the Bush dynasty.
5. Bush will take April to May exploring new VP. The press will have a coverage. Pundits will talk. But, the choice is already made by March. That choice is Giuliani. The decision is simple. Break JFK in the north east. Break liberals in the west and mid-west.
6. The battle will be between JFK/Lewis and Bush/Giuliani.
The election will be one of the hardest fought. Every vote will count. Every dollar in the bank will be spent. The talk shows will go literally 24/7, and the whole country will be involved.
This is my theory. You can call it my prediction.
