Did he resign yet? Nope. But Susan Bysiewicz, Dem Sec'y. of state, called on him to resign, first time iirc that the popular statewide Dem has done so.
Over this week, Rowland will meet with each of the state Repubs in order to try and save his job. They've already agreed not to support investigating him because the feds are already doing so. link.
The Dems say they can just impeach him for ethical issues without a formal investigation, as he's already admitted to lying about the financing of his lakeside cottage by friends and political allies (hence the term 'Cottagegate').
