Guys, traffic on the site has skyrocketed the last week, now averaging about 80,000 visitors a day (up from 50-60,000 previously). I suspect traffic will only rise as the elections draw near.
The current server and Scoop itself are both being tested. Rusty is on top of things trying to keep the site running smoothly, but outages are likely. So bear with us as we weather this latest challenge.
Chances are I'll have to buy a new server to help take the load of the current one. But I hope to put that off at least a couple more months since, frankly, my life is swamped right now.

If you are looking for more poll information, check out these Pollkatz-like charts of the Dem primary race since late August (around the time Clark entered the race). If nothing else, these charts show how relatively stable the race has been for the last 5-6 months. You have to go back earlier to see the real volatility in the polls.

And did you know that Howard Dean was a movie star? And by "movie star" I mean bit player in a cheesy B-movie. The movie? Ninja III: The Domination (1984).
It would be really cool if he played the ninja, but no, he wasn't that bad ass. He was just a cop. And unless I'm totally off the ball (which is always a possibility), it looks like Howard's the guy in the helicopter reporting the presence of the ninja in this clip. It vaguely looks like Dean, and sounds like him. Is it him?
Update: Dean claims it isn't him. Too bad...
