Tony Knowles massive fundraising

When we selected Tony Knowles of Alaska to be one of the dKos candiates, I genuinely thought that we'd net him around $20000-25000, and that this would represent roughlyl 2% of his take.

Turns out that we raised him double that--he recently broke $40,000 in Kos donations. However, this represents less than 1% of his $4,500,000 total through 9/30. Wow. A back of the envelope calculation reveals that that's around $8 per Alaskan. Wonder if that's a record.

Knowles is currently ahead in the polls 48-45. Amazingly, despite massive Republican attacks, his positives have been going slightly up, while his negatives have been going down! His opponent Lisa "Nepotism" Murkowski has no such luck.
