Watching Dkos recieving polls is more entertaining than the media debating pertinent issues (i.e. whether we can say MC is a lesbian in public)
Like the ones that are good hate the ones that are bad...
Fact is thier all created by human assumption...
I'm in the Kerry by a comfortable margin camp...Here's why, If Bush was doing a good job there wouldn't be such an interest in this election...New voters turning out in droves, overseas voters swamping sites to get absentee ballots, Debate parties, Get out the vote campaigns, record this record that..."Most important election of our time"...Either the majority hate our president so much and want somebody new or we love him so much we just want to register and vote for him...I'll go with the former rather than the latter...
But the polls are even? Well, I've diaried before people who take polls are a subgroup themselves...It takes a certain type of person in this day to answer phone surveys and waste 5 to 10 minutes anwering questions...every telephone poll has to call 5000 to 6000 people before they get a 1000 participants...what are the 5000 to 6000 people thinking? Especially the Republicans that don't answer or hang up...Even pollsters have conceded this year might be the last time phone polls can be used to judge an electorate...
Early voting numbers look good...an increase in Democrat voting and a substantially reduced republican turnout...If that keeps up it will be a landslide...
If you don't believe me poll yourself...Is this normal behavior (to live and die by every poll)...Its not for me but I'm doing it and I consider myself moderate...I've never called myself a democrat until this year...So that's my barometer...I think By watching Dkos I'm not alone...
