I'm on the Bush/Cheney mail list. And I didn't even have to sign a loyalty oath to get on it!
See below the fold for the latest, which gives dates and times for some online chats that are coming up.
I'm busy with a bunch of work deadlines, but perhaps some of y'all will like to join in and ask a few questions?
Dear J.,
It's the last full week of the campaign and we're sharply focused on turning out the largest vote possible for President Bush and Vice President Cheney. This week, the chat center will be busy with campaign leaders and chief surrogates coming online to chat with you about our efforts and how you can help get out the vote for a decisive Bush-Cheney victory. Below are the details for a few of these chat sessions. Be sure to check back during the week for additional special guests who'll be taking a break from campaign stops to chat with you.
* Terry Nelson, Tuesday, October 26, 2:00 - 3:00 pm EDT
Terry Nelson, BC '04 National Political Director, is back to host his second chat of the campaign. He will take questions and discuss the campaign's sophisticated get-out-the-vote effort.
* Scott O'Grady, Wednesday, October 27, 10:00 - 11:00 am EDT
Captain Scott O'Grady (U.S. Air Force, Ret.), an Air Force fighter pilot shot down over Bosnia while helping to enforce the NATO no-fly zone, is also back for a second time and will take questions and discuss his experience traveling the nation to speak with veterans about this year's election.
* Coddy Johnson, Wednesday, October 27, 2:00 - 3:00 pm EDT
Coddy Johnson, BC '04 National Field Director and first-time chat host, takes questions and discusses the campaign's nationwide grassroots effort and how you can help in the final 72 hours of the campaign.
* Barbara and Jenna Bush, Thursday, October 28, TBD
Barbara and Jenna are back to host a second chat, this time after several weeks of consistent campaigning. They will take questions about their experience garnering support for their Dad on the campaign trail and discuss the importance of all Americans voting in this year's presidential election - especially their fellow women and young adults.
