Once again, KE'04 wastes no time to respond to another over-the-top Bushite statement - from Saint Rudy Giuliani that it was our troops fault that they did not secure the weapons. Keep kicking ass Senator:
Kerry Campaign Response to Bush Remarks in Saginaw, MI
For Immediate Release
Washington, DC - Kerry-Edwards spokesman Phil Singer released the following statement today in response to the president's remarks in Saginaw, MI:
"George Bush's hypocrisy knows no bounds. On the same day that his top surrogate blames the troops for the missing explosives, the president has the audacity to cast stones at John Kerry. If George Bush understood what it means to be Commander-in-Chief, he'd understand that this is his responsibility and wouldn't be dispatching his allies to denigrate our troops."
Rudy Giuliani, on the Today Show: "No matter how you try to blame it on the president the actual responsibility for it really would be for the troops that were there. Did they search carefully enough? Didn't they search carefully enough?" [10/28/04]

Now the DNC responds with General McPeak laying the smackdown, saying that Dubya was "the engineer of this trainwreck. Now he has to take responsibility for it."
