Karen Hughes says no, "If he was there, we would have got him." She is evil, eh?
Geraldo is on, says he was embedded with troops there at Tora Bora. He has footage of him there with troops, air strikes, etc.. He says, "Absolutely Osama was there, and we had the troops there to catch him. But the higher ups ordered the troops to pull out and head for Iraq. Had that not happened Osama would not be out there making video threats now." (I'm paraphrasing.)
Chris Wallace is challenging Karen Hughes now on the disappearance the explosives. She says, "See there were WMD there in Iraq, Kerry is shooting himself in the foot by bringing this up."
Huh? Bush says the weapons are why we went to war, but then doesn't guard or destroy the largest weapons depot in the country when we get there? Hughes says pointing that out hurts Kerry?
Poll flashes on screen, Bush and Kerry tied. Hmmm.
Now she says Kerry is politicizing OBL tape. Go Wallace, he's challenging her on that, too. You know, maybe some of these Faux guys are smelling a loser and are hedging their bets.
Holy Cow. Now Brit Hume is saying Kerry will probably win on Tuesday. "Even the Fox Internal Polls are showing the trend. If Bush doesn't win either Ohio or Florida, he's in big trouble. I think it's likely Kerry will take all the swing states. Once the first ones start to go for Kerry, the rest will follow in a kind of domino effect."
Wow.
Ok. Kristol is laughing nervously, tries to discredit the Fox polls, then, remembers he's ON Fox. Ooops. Back tracks and says, "Don't get me wrong, I love Fox News. . . . budee, buduh . . . but, Actually I think it's to their credit that they are reporting these numbers." Laughs nervouslly, plays with pencil.
Man, it is truly amazing how quick they start to shake. Kerry is only up by 1 or 2 points, and for the first time in a long time.
You know, now that I think about it, this makes a lot of sense in many ways. They all know they have been pushing the Bush agenda for years. They see that a vote against the Bush policies is also a vote against Fox. If Bush loses, Fox loses. They are surprised, and scared. "Hey, maybe the majority of Americans really don't like us.?"
