This morning MSNBC offered incite into the question "Who won the debate?"
First they showed the ABC poll which shows Cheney as the winner (Cheney 43%, Edwards 35%, Tie 19%). Then they showed CBS poll which puts it in Edwards favor (Edwards 41%, Cheney 28%, Tie 31%). They concluded that finding out who won the debate depends upon who you talk to, and that it was pretty much a draw. The suggestion here is that a sampling from all polls would give results of 50% in favors of Edwards, 50% in favor of Cheney. Well let's just take a little look at several other polls, major and minor. (A random sampling.)
MSNBC: Edwards 60%, Cheney 40%. (Isn't it curious that MSNBC didn't cite their own poll in this report 3 to 2 in favor of Edwards?... Hmmm?

Fox News: I have yet to find a VP Debate poll on their site, neither last night nor this morning... Hmmmm?
Newsday: Last night when I checked this poll it was strongly in Edwards favor by more than 2 to 1. This morning it is now showing Cheney 2 to 1... Hmmmm?
CNN: Changed their poll which was going strongly in favor of Edwards, to a less controversial question about whether the VP debate made a difference in your election decision.... Hmmmmm?
http://www.cnn.com/
LA Times: I can't find it this morning. Last night it was strongly in favor of Edwards. Hmmmm?
http://www.latimes.com/
Akron Beacon Journal: Edwards 98%, 2% Cheney.

Minneapolis-St. Paul Star-Tribune: Last night this poll was by far in favor of Edwards. Today the poll is nowhere to be seen... Hmmmm?
http://www.startribune.com/
Orlando Sentinnel: Edwards 79%, Cheney 17.4%, Not Sure 3.1%.

Philadelphia Daily News: Last night's poll was strongly in favor of Edwards. Today I don't see it. But there is a headline, "Does it really matter who won the V.P. Debate?" with subtitle"THE ONLY THING REVEALED WAS THAT SEN. EDWARDS IS NO SWEET-FACED PUPPY DOG"... Hmmmm?
http://www.philly.com/
The Argus Leader, Sioux Falls Idaho: Edwards 67%, Cheney 33%
http://www.argusleader.com/
AOL: Cheney 51% Edwards 49% (I'd call this one a draw.)

Houston Chronicle: Edwards 89%, Cheney 8%, Draw 2%

Citizen times, Asheville, NC: Last night it showed a strong Edwards victory. Today no poll results... Hmmmm?
http://www.citizen-times.com/
Detroit Free Press: Last night was by far in favor of Edwards. Today the poll is nowhere to be seen. Hmmmm?

NY Daily News: Edwards 79%, Cheney 21%

So from a random sampling of 17 polls (both major and minor ones, including ABC and CBS, and not including Fox News which I could not find) this is what I get:
*A Draw: 1
*Showed Cheney won: 1
*Showed Edwards won: 7
*Showed Edwards won, but then was suppressed in some way: 7
*Showed Cheney won, but then was suppressed in some way: 0
Hmmm...Yeah... Pretty much a draw wouldn't you say?!
The one that showed Cheney the winner, he won by 8%.
The ones that showed Edwards the winner, he won by 13%, 20%, 96%, 61%, 81%, 34%, and 58%. On average that is 2 to 1 in favor of Edwards. Yet the mainstream media is parroting this same "It was a draw" bullshit!
