It won't be official until the 23rd, but apparently New Mexico has finished its vote count. The results are
:
BC: 352,896 (49.8%)
KE: 347,355 (49.1%)
for a final Bush-Cheney margin of 5,541 votes.

UPDATE: Why are these tallies smaller than
CNN posted 2 weeks ago?
Unfortunately there doesn't seem to be anything resembling a final count of the numbers of provisional ballots, accepted and rejected. This is important because the absentee and provisional ballots cut Bush's election night lead of around 13,000 votes by well over half. As of last week,
Bernalillo County had reviewed around 9,000 of 13,000 provisional ballots. Of these, they had accepted only 3,000, while rejecting 4,000. The remaining 2,000 were under review. San Juan County accepted only 265 of 656 provisional ballots. Statewide numbers are unavailable. By some accounts, ballots were rejected for reasons as picky as a missing middle initial or "Jr" or "Sr," or a missing apartment number. New Mexico's eagerness to throw away valid votes for invalid reasons should shock the senses of anyone who cares about Democracy.

It is also quite possible that these rejected ballots could have turned the election around for Kerry. Lawsuit anyone?
