The Bushchurian Candidate is "the most poundingly suspenseful political thriller ever made"( People Magizine ) and "remains one of the best and brightest of modern American films" (Roger Ebert)
Ask U.S. Secretary of State Colin L. Powell( Frank Sinatra ) and he'll say that President Bush ( Laurence Harvey ) is a hero worthy of The Medal of Honor. But despite what he says Powell thinks otherwise. A bizarre, recurring nightmare gives him the uneasy feeling that Bush is something far less heroic and far more insidious. Is it possible that Bush is a traitor? Can Powell convince the CIA of his suspicions? How does Bush's powermad Vice President ( Boris Karloff ) figure into all this?
So many questions. So precious little time.
