Face it we got burned last night...I would be ok with a close presidential election, trying to unseat a incumbent president during war but to lose in the senate too is too much...Our arguments were better, pragmatism was with us, and complete incompetence was on the other side...Why didn't it resonate?
Why didn't it resonate that is the question we all have to ask
- The media has to do a better job, journalists have to dig deep get the real story and broadcast it not just in the papers but on TV
- We have to have better candidates...Out of this terrible event we will impassion those among us to rise up and fight...run for local seats, run for congress, get the message out be vocal, be passionate, be proud.
- This is a sad day I wish we could spin it to say tommorow will be better...but I fear the future...Many things will happen in the next 4 years that will permnately alter the direction of our country for the worse...Unless we can convince a majority of Americans of that by 2006...
Phoenixes will rise from these terrible days, We need more Michael Moore's and Barak Obama's
On a side note, partially humor, Did we just lose our country because somebody got a blow Job?
Would Gore have won in 2000?
Would the religous right be so motivated?
Would Moral Values be no. 1 on Exit Polls for Republicans?
